Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand service lines by developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other key referral sources. The role involves collaborating with discharge planners, social workers, physicians, and management to identify growth opportunities and manage referral leads to ensure smooth admissions.

Frequent travel within the local community will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field required.
• Two or more years’ experience in sales and/or marketing required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with discharge planners, social workers, case managers, physicians and management to generate referral sources.
• Develop strong relationships with key referral sources.
• Identify opportunities for partnering and growth.
• Manage leads from referral sources and ensure efficient admissions process for clients.
• Increase the number of referral sources within a facility (physicians, social workers, discharge planners).
• Coordinate with clinical assessment team on referrals for admission.
• Educate patients, families, community and other referral sources on programs and services.
• Coordinate completion of admission process and obtain resources.
• Travel frequently within community to schedule meetings and develop contacts/referral sources.
• Document referral sources in CRM system.
• Develop events and educational forums to identify potential referral sources.
• Maintain existing referral relationships.
• Use Salesforce to plan and evaluate activity to optimize results.
• Represent facility in professional forums and communicate mission in outreach interactions.
• Create outreach initiatives for regular communication with top referral sources.
