Job summary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Greenville is seeking a Service Development Representative to cultivate referral relationships and coordinate access to inpatient and outpatient services. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent healthcare marketing or development experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, clinics, social service agencies, and community partners.
• Serve as a conduit of information between Freedom Behavioral and referral sources.
• Educate community providers on hospital services, programs, and admission processes.
• Identify community and staff educational needs and support development of an annual education calendar.
• Conduct in-service trainings and presentations for community and healthcare partners.
• Support case management functions within the community.
• Facilitate smooth transitions of care between different levels of clinical intensity.
• Prospect assigned territory to identify new referral opportunities.
• Track and report referral activity and outreach using web-based applications.
• Meet or exceed monthly referral and growth goals.
• Maintain professional relationships and represent the hospital in a positive, ethical, and professional manner.
