Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B healthcare sales, business development, referral development, or field sales experience.
• Experience with healthcare providers, physicians, clinics, hospitals, or medical practices preferred.
• Behavioral health, mental health, psychiatry, therapy experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business through prospecting, relationship building, and in-person outreach.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, medical practices, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare referral sources.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to healthcare providers and community partners throughout the Chicago territory.
• Identify and develop new healthcare referral opportunities through prospecting, networking, and field outreach.
• Schedule and conduct presentations, meetings, Lunch & Learns, and educational sessions with potential referral partners.
• Promote behavioral health, mental health, psychiatric, and therapy services to healthcare professionals and community organizations.
• Build and maintain a strong referral pipeline and consistently follow up with prospective partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, medical practices, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare referral sources.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to healthcare providers and community partners throughout the assigned Chicago territory.
• Identify and develop new healthcare referral opportunities through prospecting, networking, and field outreach.
• Schedule and conduct presentations, meetings, Lunch & Learns, and educational sessions with potential referral partners.
• Promote behavioral health, mental health, psychiatric, and therapy services to healthcare professionals and community organizations.
• Build and maintain a strong referral pipeline and consistently follow up with prospective partners.
• Track outreach, meetings, referrals, and business development activity using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with internal clinical and operations teams to support successful onboarding of new referral partners.
• Monitor territory activity and provide regular updates on leads, meetings, referral relationships, and growth opportunities.
• Represent the organization at healthcare conferences, networking events, and community events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B healthcare sales, business development, referral development, or field sales experience required.
• Experience working with healthcare providers, physicians, clinics, hospitals, or medical practices strongly preferred.
• Behavioral health, mental health, psychiatry, therapy, healthcare services, or related industry experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business through prospecting, relationship building, and in-person outreach.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple relationships and follow-ups.
• Comfortable using CRM systems to manage leads, contacts, and sales activity.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Chicago-area territory.
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
