The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking an on-site Human Resources Staffing Specialist in Piedmont, SC. You will assist talent acquisition, pre-screen applicants, maintain candidate data in the ATS, and coordinate on-site interviews, reporting to the Staffing Supervisor.

You'll review resumes, schedule interviews, track status in HRIS, and handle confidential information with discretion while working with managers and staff across locations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1–3 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Effective, tactful, courteous communication with patrons, donors, sponsors, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Position Overview - On-Site Position

The Human Resources Staffing Specialist screens and interviews candidates, complying with organization policy and government regulatory guidelines at all business locations. This role works with managers, helping to identify job requirements and create interview guides to assist in talent acquisitions. The position provides assistance with the human resource process primarily within the function of talent acquisition. The Human Resources Staffing Specialist is a hands-on position reporting to the Staffing Supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment support for all open positions including pre-screening applicants and updating, maintaining, and managing candidate data in applicant tracking system.
• A true staffing position, no major HR responsibilites.
• Determines applicant suitability by reviewing resumes, personality profiles, and overall qualifications relating to applied jobs
• Conduct phone interviews and coordinate and schedule on-site interviews
• Tracks status of candidates in HRIS, keeps candidates up to date regarding next steps, and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruitment process
• Other duties as assigned or required
• Handles confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1 to 3 years’ experience
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Strong computer skills including intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers
• Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
