Qualifications

• Experience with HIPAA/Medicare/Medicaid documentation standards.
• Experience managing medical records in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate documentation processes.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and related workflows.
• Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Oversee creation, organization, storage, and retrieval of resident medical records.
• Ensure timely documentation of admissions, discharges, transfers, and clinical updates.
• Monitor records for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with nursing, rehab, and admin to complete documentation on time.
• Manage requests for medical records from residents, families, and providers.
• Oversee EHR systems and resolve documentation issues.
