Responsibilities

• Maintain, secure and store all written and electronic records within the nursing center in accordance with regulations and the records management program.
• Perform accurate diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate patient billing.
• Create medical record for all new patient admissions.
• Perform routine audits of medical records from admission to discharge to monitor compliance with documentation policies.
• Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.
