Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Prescott Valley, AZ, is seeking a PRN Receptionist to greet patients and manage front-desk communications while supporting admissions and insurance verification.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of reception experience in a healthcare setting and can multitask in a fast-paced environment, maintaining HIPAA compliance and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer calls and direct callers appropriately.
• Provide hospital telecommunications using phones, paging systems, radios.
• Assist patient registration and billing with demographic/financial information.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility as needed.
• Assist with obtaining and tracking prior authorizations when applicable.
• Enter charges into the system and maintain records of communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with staff and provide excellent customer service.
