Healthcare Receptionist

Are you someone who enjoys connecting with clients and customers? Serenity is seeking a Healthcare Receptionist for our Jacksonville, FL office to join our team and contribute to our clinic's success. The role is customer-focused, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide an exceptional experience for our patients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure a smooth patient journey, leaving a positive impression on everyone who visits our clinic.

Job: Full-time (3-13-hour shifts)

Trigger Warning: Working with suicidal patients, listening to trauma from PTSD patients, and supporting these patients may be triggering for some individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and verify patient information during visits.
  • Create rapport with patients by remembering their names, interests, and stories.
  • Answer questions, address concerns, respect boundaries, and be sensitive to individual challenges.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience through support and compassion.
  • Perform various office tasks as needed throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 1 year of full-time customer service, reception, or related experience
