Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field required.
• Solid clinical knowledge for reading and analyzing medical records.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines, especially State, TJC, insurance providers, and other licensing or regulatory agencies.
• Understanding of Quality and Performance Improvement standards and programs.
• Ability to maintain confidential information regarding patients, investigations, and other sensitive topics.
• Proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Office, EMRs, and other databases.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordination of the overall Quality and PI functions.
• Collects information, prepares reports, and analyzes Quality and PI data.
• Facilitates the Quality Committee.
• Performs investigations and reports incidents timely as required.
• Maintains documentation of investigations and reports.
• Performs monthly chart audits to ensure regulatory and organizational standards are maintained.
• Serves as a knowledgeable point of contact during absences of the Director of Regulatory Compliance.
