Job summary

Jandbmedical is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative for our Celina, TX office. This full-time, hourly role focuses on monitoring and improving order processes to uphold quality standards and timely release of held patient orders.

Responsibilities include researching held DME orders, verifying insurance and authorizations, and coordinating with QA to resolve issues. Requires 2+ years in customer service in healthcare and 1+ years in medical billing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in fast-paced customer service in healthcare or insurance.
• 1+ years in Medical Billing with patient insurance verification and account setup.
• 1+ years of medical billing coding experience.
• High school diploma or GED; Medical Billing education is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail in multi-step procedures.

Responsibilities

• Research held DME orders and identify root causes.
• Rework expired prescriptions and adjust patient insurance information.
• Verify changes in patients' plans to ensure timely shipping.
• Obtain Prior Authorizations or resolve discrepancies.
• QA team coordinates order issues with other teams.
• Handle EDI 835 & 837 ERA formats and corrections.
• Record notes and relevant information in the HDMS system.
• Flag unusual issues to Team Support or Sr. Team Leader.
