Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Manager of Purchasing for the Supply Chain in Lawrenceville, NJ. This full-time role leads a purchasing team, negotiates with vendors, and ensures accurate MMIS data to support efficient operations and patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years of purchasing-related experience, with leadership experience preferred. Competitive benefits and a pay range reflecting 1.0 FTE are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience with purchasing, accounts payable and warehouse storeroom functions when accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree.
• Eight years of progressively responsible experience with purchasing accounts payable and warehouse storeroom functions when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the purchasing team to buy goods, services and equipment.
• Negotiate prices and manage vendor relationships to ensure best value.
• Maintain MMIS data accuracy for item details and contracts.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues.
• Lead bid processes and use GPO resources for best value.
• Review and renew contracts and conduct vendor background checks.
• Assist departments with budgeting and special projects.
• Participate in committees for value analysis and cost optimization.
