Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years experience with inventory control accepted.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or related field preferred.
• Experience with procurement in healthcare environment is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate procurement function and maintain the computerized materials management system.
• Assist Materials Management Manager and attend department meetings.
• Verify packing slips against PO, liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies.
• Audit inventory transactions and maintain the Inventory Control System across the facility.
• Coordinate with departments (e.g., Surgery) to ensure supplies are ordered timely.
• Process POs and vendor communications; maintain filing and cataloging of price lists.
• Support cost analysis, bid solicitation, and PAR level system implementation.
