Genesis Rehab Services is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support spend management across nursing centers. The role focuses on PO processing, auditing, vendor relations, and cost control to ensure timely access to critical medical supplies.

You will collaborate with facility teams to monitor inventory, optimize orders, and prevent stockouts while maintaining compliant purchasing practices and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in purchasing and/or contracting capacity preferred.
• High school graduate; College education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit purchase orders to ensure pricing accuracy and budget compliance.
• Manage approval workflows and escalate budget or authorization issues.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding price, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Track orders, resolve delays, and monitor shipments for accuracy.
• Maintain audit-ready purchasing records and vendor documentation.
