Job summary

Melrose/Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA seeks an Associate Safety Instructor to develop, coordinate, and evaluate Public Safety training programs for officers and hospital staff. You will lead CPR and AVADE instruction, conduct firearms safety training, and maintain documentation while aligning with hospital policies.

Flexible per diem hours, 8 hours weekly, and opportunities for career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state drivers license.
• Current CPR certification and CPR instructor certification (AHA/Red Cross).
• Current AVADE Instructor certifications.
• Two years of experience in safety, security, or related training.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, conduct, and evaluate Public Safety training programs.
• Develop and facilitate hospital safety and emergency drills and exercises.
• Coordinate drills with Public Safety leadership and hospital departments.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and documentation.
