Advocate Health is hiring a Full-time Public Safety Officer for 1st shift (0700-1500) with rotating weekends off. The role requires a high school diploma and involves patrolling, incident response, and collaboration with medical staff and law enforcement to maintain a safe hospital environment.

Responsabilités

• Provides security services with a customer-service approach in line with policies and training.
• Demonstrates professionalism, fairness, and compassion across all interactions.
• Performs interior and exterior patrols, identifying hazards and ensuring safety; conducts on-site checks and escorts as needed.
• Responds to emergencies, including potential threats, and supports incident investigations with documentation.
• Utilizes de-escalation techniques and appropriate force when required; participates in safety training and drills.
• Liaises with law enforcement and first responders; maintains equipment and records.
• Delivers security awareness education to staff and supports site safety initiatives.
