Overview: The Healthcare Product Consulting Elements Product Consultant will be responsible for understanding and supporting the delivery and TriZetto implementation methodology around enrollment, reconciliation, encounters, and risk adjustment programs in the government-sponsored healthcare market. You should be able to translate those into the TriZetto Elements product suite capabilities and advise prospects and clients on these features and functionalities based on the HPC implementation practice process. The Elements Product Consultant should articulate how Cognizant's TriZetto Elements suite can provide value to health plan payers, demonstrating deep expertise in Government healthcare (Medicare). The role involves working directly with customers to understand their needs, support the implementation team, and coordinate with project managers and other business units to ensure successful product delivery. The candidate should reside in the United States and be willing to travel up to 20% for business needs.

The Role: Individual Contributor Client Facing Role

Responsibilities include:

1. Healthcare industry acumen and client-facing skills to converse with executives and senior staff on healthcare and government programs, particularly in enrollment, reconciliation, encounters, and risk adjustment.
2. Strong capabilities in product consulting activities, including identifying needs, gaps, requirements, and technology solutions within Cognizant and industry-wide.
3. Interpret and translate regulatory guidance from CMS and other agencies into the product implementation process.
4. Utilize technical acumen and industry trends (Cloud, SaaS, SOA) to guide product technical roadmap.
5. Lead timely delivery of services, ensuring compliance with federal mandates, vendor integration, and client requests.
6. Represent and demonstrate TriZetto's Elements products in client meetings and knowledge transfer sessions.
7. Specify client requirements and conduct market analysis to support product development.
8. Maintain collaborative relationships with clients and lead communication of product solutions.
9. Identify requirements, produce solution diagrams, and drive product acceptance.
10. Collaborate with other Product Managers to operationalize strategy based on market trends.
11. Work with leadership to deliver industry-leading product solutions.

Required Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in Medicare enrollment operations within a product consulting role for government healthcare programs.

Business/Technical Competencies:

• Expertise in healthcare domain and technology business models.
• Understanding of product implementation and integration best practices.
• Ability to analyze client implementations and distill solutions.
• Knowledge of risk adjustment models (CMS-HCC, HHS-HCC, CDPS, etc.).
• Secondary knowledge of Medicare Part D reporting.

Behavioral Competencies:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, owning and driving product strategy.
• Highly organized with good prioritization and negotiation skills.

Desired Experience:

• Project management and leadership skills preferred.
• Experience in large, regulated organizations.
• Preferred certification: Medicare Fundamentals (TZU).

Salary and Benefits: The annual salary ranges from $100K-$110K, with eligibility for Cognizant’s incentive program. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), disability, parental leave, and stock purchase plans. Applicants are accepted until 6/16/2025.
