Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Procurement Analyst II to manage daily procurement activities, evaluate service requests, and set priorities across the department. You will act as a liaison within the supply chain, ensure contract terms are met, and coordinate with Accounts Payable for timely payments.

Ideal candidates will have experience with MMIS, GHX Exchange, dashboards, and a background in healthcare materials and services. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large, complex healthcare system is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare materials, equipment, supplies and services.
• Experience with data analysis and procurement practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with vendor sourcing and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate service requests, set priorities and communicate needs to peers and customers.
• Perform purchasing duties following prescribed procedures and instructions.
• Maintain an integral information database and liaise between supply chain parties.
• Coordinate vendor requests and ensure contract terms are fulfilled.
• Interface with Accounts Payable to facilitate accurate vendor payments.
