Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Process Improvement Senior Analyst to lead internal consulting across the Cancer Program and OSUWMC. You will facilitate cross-functional teams, remove barriers to success, and drive projects from concept through DMAIC implementation, applying advanced data analytics and change management skills.

The role interfaces with clinicians and leaders, travels to the James and OSU Medical Complex, and requires adaptable scheduling to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Masters in operations management or industrial engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, a Bachelors in industrial engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification or PMP is preferred.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and DMAIC/Lean implementations.
• Proficient in simulation software and advanced data analysis.
• Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills, with project management ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives across the Cancer Program and OSUWMC.
• Interface with all levels of the organization and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve process improvement goals.
• Proactively identify opportunities to impact organizational goals.
• Demonstrate problem solving, change management, and leadership capabilities.
• Plan and manage a diverse portfolio from rapid-cycle projects to DMAIC initiatives.
