Job summary

Jobot is seeking a junior-level Preconstruction professional to support budgeting, estimating, and project planning efforts in our healthcare construction portfolio in the Dallas area.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of commercial construction experience and exposure to preconstruction. You may come from preconstruction, estimating, project engineering, or operations roles and should communicate clearly and stay organized.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Some preconstruction, estimating, or budgeting experience.
• Open to candidates coming from Project Engineer, Assistant PM, or operations backgrounds.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Healthcare project experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conceptual and detailed project budgets.
• Support quantity takeoffs, estimating, and subcontractor outreach.
• Participate in design reviews, cost analysis, and value engineering efforts.
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Track pricing trends, market conditions, and subcontractor proposals.
• Help prepare budget presentations and preconstruction deliverables.
