Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Chief Preconstruction Manager to lead our TX Healthcare Division from the Dallas office. You will direct multiple estimates, mentor teams, and steer preconstruction strategy across hard bid, GMP, Design Build, and IPD engagements.

The role demands a strong background in preconstruction, exceptional leadership, and the ability to manage client and design-team relations while forecasting pursuits and resources. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of construction experience with 5–10 years leading large estimates/teams.
• Proven senior estimator results and preconstruction expertise.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience with multiple delivery methods (hard bid, GMP, Design Build, IPD).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple estimates and manage teams of estimators.
• Compile conceptual estimates with project benchmarks.
• Understand and execute multiple delivery methods (hard bid, GMP, Design Build, IPD).
• Collaborate with operations on fees, staffing, and financials.
• Forecast pursuit and allocate department resources.
• Mentor, coach, and develop estimators; conduct annual reviews.
• Build relationships with architects, owners, and subcontractors.
• Represent estimating team at interviews and present estimates.
