Job summary

Maine Dartmouth Family Practice, part of MaineGeneral Health, seeks a Practice Supervisor to provide day-to-day administrative leadership, ensuring effective staffing, efficient operations, and a high-quality patient and staff experience.

You will supervise administrative staff, support staff development, and ensure compliance with policies and standards while collaborating with clinical leadership to improve workflows and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or administrative setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience, or demonstrated experience providing direction and support to staff.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels to support efficient practice operations and required service levels.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to administrative staff to promote engagement, accountability, and professional development.
• Assists with performance evaluations, performance management, and disciplinary actions in accordance with MaineGeneral Health policies and procedures.
• Assesses the quality and effectiveness of services provided and identifies opportunities to improve workflows, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
