Job summary

Grand Lake Health System in Ohio seeks a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations for the Physician Practice(s). You will supervise staff, ensure efficient workflows, and safeguard financial viability through revenue cycle management and expense control.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and collaboration with providers and hospital leaders to drive service excellence and growth. This is a full-time, salaried position with regular hours and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent with five years progressively responsible healthcare management experience and education/training in medical office administration/management required.

Responsibilities

• The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Physician Practice(s) assigned to them.
• The Practice Manager works collaboratively with practice providers to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practice including the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff as well as ensuring the practices financial viability via revenue cycle management and operational expense control.
• Oversees all practice operations, budget, and workflows within the medical practice to ensure all applicable Grand Lake policies and procedures are in effect.
• This position requires critical thinking skills and working on special projects as assigned.
• The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the practice's marketing and growth as well as continuous quality improvement and excellence of service.
• The Practice Manager ensures smooth interfaces with hospital operations.
