Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an experienced healthcare administrator to lead clinic operations and drive staff performance. You will oversee recruitment, orientation, retention, evaluations, and training, while ensuring policy compliance and fiscal oversight to support patient satisfaction and community initiatives.

The ideal candidate has senior leadership experience in healthcare, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to manage budgets and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of senior leadership in healthcare administration or related field.
• 6–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, nursing, or relevant area.
• 2 years of relevant managerial experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
• Part-time and PRN experience prorated based on hours per week.
• Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow, policy compliance, and a safe environment.
• Manage recruitment, orientation, retention, termination, performance evaluations, and competency assessments of clinic staff.
• Oversee staff scheduling, deployment, and forecasting.
• Ensure staff competency through training, continuing education, and disciplinary counseling.
• Monitor and analyze fiscal performance; assist with capital and operating budgets and cost containment.
• Collaborate with leadership and marketing on strategic plans and community initiatives.
• Participate in committees improving customer service, administrative policies, and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and research compliance.
• Resolve customer complaints, manage public relations, and incorporate feedback for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
