Job summary

Prism Health, a program of CAP Northwest, is seeking a Practice Administrator to lead clinical operations across Prism Health locations in SE and N Portland. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, policy implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

This full-time, hybrid position schedules 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with three in-office days and two remote. Starting pay is $120,000, reflecting experience in ambulatory care operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Current clinical credentials or licensure (CMA, RN, LPN, etc.).
• Minimum five years of experience in primary care operations management.
• Experience with budgeting, purchasing, and payroll.
• Experience with revenue cycle management, payor contracts, and diverse payment models.
• Experience with high-volume ambulatory care patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates clinical and operational policies, procedures, and workflows supporting high-quality, patient-centered care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
• Provides strategic leadership in transforming care delivery models to meet the evolving healthcare environment.
• Serves as a key member of Prism Health and CAP leadership teams, providing operational leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Direct supervision of Front Office Supervisors, Back Office Supervisors, ESA, Clinical Quality Specialist, and Billing & Coding Specialist.
• Coordinates clinical activities for students, interns, and residents with the Medical Director. Addresses student/resident issues.
• Leads development and evaluation of strategic operational goals and performance metrics for clinical operations.
