Humboldt Park Health in Chicago is seeking a PMO Manager to lead our enterprise-wide Performance Improvement Management Office within the Quality Department, driving governance, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and measurable performance across hospital-wide programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive healthcare performance improvement, quality, project management, operations, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, project management, operations management, health information management, health informatics, or related field
• Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt or higher

Responsibilities

• Provides methodology, structure, discipline, project governance, facilitation, measurement, and accountability infrastructure to ensure enterprise initiatives yield measurable results.
• Create a standardized PMO governance model across clinical, operational, financial, regulatory, compliance, patient safety, and administrative initiatives.
• Serve as the central mechanism for enterprise performance improvement project management, lean six sigma deployment, quality improvement methodology, cross-functional coordination, and portfolio management.
• Create and administer a formal process for departments to request PMO support.
• Develop standardized processes for project intake, screening, prioritization, approval, chartering, planning, team formation, stakeholder identification, measurement, risk assessment, and escalation.
• Ensure projects map to organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, patient safety, and strategic objectives.
• Ensure performance measurement, corrective action tracking, sustainability monitoring, standardization of improvement practices, and demonstrable improvement to CMS, IDPH, JCAHO, leadership, and oversight bodies.
