Job summary

Fountain View at Logan Square, a healthcare campus in Philadelphia, seeks a Director of Plant Operations. This full-time role leads maintenance and plant operations across sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient facilities to support resident care.

Travel within the state is required. Qualifications include 4+ years in healthcare facilities maintenance; knowledge of building codes and blueprint interpretation; proven leadership and multi-site project management; emergency response

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or plant operations within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and blueprint interpretation.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a multi-site or complex environment.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and be on-call as required.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of facility maintenance and plant operations across assigned healthcare sites.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
• Oversee maintenance programs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building operations.
• Review and ensure proper interpretation of blueprints, technical drawings, and facility plans.
• Support capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades to maintain high-quality environments.
• Respond to and manage emergency facility issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
• Coordinate with facility leadership to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure safe, functional environments.
• Monitor and evaluate facility performance, maintenance workflows, and compliance standards.
• Travel extensively within the state to conduct on-site facility inspections and provide operational support.
