Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager, Payroll for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position in Washington. The salary range is $48.52 – $72.78 per hour, with the hiring rate depending on education, experience, and applicable agreements.

The Manager, Payroll will oversee payroll operations, supervise staff, and ensure payroll processes comply with federal and state regulations and PeaceHealth policies. They will also lead system testing and implementation for mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years payroll experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience consulting on Payroll or Accounting.
• Experience with Lawson/Kronos is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll office operations and staff to ensure timely caregiver payments.
• Supervise assigned staff including hiring, training, scheduling and evaluations.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve payroll issues and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Lead projects and system updates (e.g., Lawson/Kronos) for mergers and acquisitions.
• Ensure records support audits and drive process improvements.
