Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Healthcare Merchant Payments Sales Consultant to develop new business and expand relationships with healthcare practices and related organizations.

You will collaborate with Healthcare Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, and product specialists to tailor payment solutions that improve cash flow and patient experiences. The role requires payments expertise, healthcare knowledge, and the ability to translate complex workflows into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• 5+ years in merchant acquiring, payments, treasury management, healthcare tech, or B2B sales.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage a multi-stakeholder pipeline.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem.
• Able to travel 25%+ for meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop a pipeline of healthcare merchant payment opportunities through self-sourced prospecting, referrals, and partnerships.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand client payment workflows across channels.
• Assess clients' payments ecosystem including gateways, POS, card/ACH, tokenization, and fraud controls.
• Design tailored payment strategies to grow revenue and improve operations.
• Collaborate with product, pricing, underwriting, risk, and implementation partners to deliver a smooth experience.
