Job summary

Pivotal Health is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support the Payor Compliance team, focusing on payment processing and refunds. You’ll own the weekly fee-refund cycle, answer refund questions, and assist with manual payment processing while maintaining Payor Compliance documentation.

You’ll work with Metabase and BigQuery to reconcile payments, identify blockers, and serve as the main contact for refund inquiries from Client Success.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in healthcare operations or revenue cycle.
• Comfort pulling and interpreting data in Metabase/BigQuery; SQL is a plus.
• Clear written explanations for client questions are essential.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage high-volume refunds and exceptions.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets; collaborative across teams.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly refund cycle and process fee-refund uploads with precision.
• Field refund inquiries and track resolutions using dashboards and tools.
• Maintain relationships with IDREs to accelerate refunds owed.
• Coordinate between Client Success, Operations, and Accounting for alignment.
• Develop new processes and improve Payor Compliance SOPs over time.
• Escalate platform issues with evidence to engineering.
