Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hospital billing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Bill the patient's account to third party insurers.
• Follow up with insurers and patients for balances.
• Recommend placement of the account if payment cannot be obtained.
• Cash posting, evaluation of credit balances, responding to patient or guarantor inquiries.
