The Paralegal position provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.
This role involves managing multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, requiring initiative and judgment in administrative and legal tasks.
5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years in healthcare law, with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).
Highly attentive to detail; excellent organizational and time management skills; clear, concise, and logical writing style.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport at all organizational levels.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program is required.
Pediatric Home Service has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990, enabling clients to thrive at home, school, and in their communities. Our clients are primarily aged birth through 21 years and may have technologies such as trachs, ventilators, or g-tubes.
