Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Lead Administrator for our Wichita facility. The role partners with the Site Manager and Chief Technologist to oversee site operations, staffing, and service lines to ensure quality patient care and budgeted growth.

Responsibilities include staff training and performance management, billing coordination, equipment and facility oversight, and development of strong referrer relationships to drive volume. Travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years healthcare leadership.
• Experience in clinical management/operations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytics and metrics-driven performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the site(s) and service lines to maximize patient care quality.
• Hire, train, and manage staff; payroll, scheduling, onboarding and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate billing, precertification, and revenue cycle activities for timely claims.
• Monitor equipment uptime and service; coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Cultivate relationships with top referrers to grow volume and meet targets.
