Aston Carter is seeking experienced healthcare operations professionals to train and improve AI systems that support healthcare administration. You will evaluate AI outputs against industry standards in coding, billing, revenue cycle, documentation integrity, and payer operations.

This fully remote role offers flexible scheduling for professionals who enjoy problem-solving, reviewing documentation, and applying regulations to ensure accuracy in complex healthcare workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on healthcare operations experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare documentation, coding, billing, or revenue cycle processes.
• Experience interpreting regulations, coding guidelines, payer policies, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify inaccuracies and explain decisions using industry standards and supporting documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Create realistic healthcare operations scenarios based on your professional experience.
• Develop supporting documentation, payer policies, claim information, and workflow examples for evaluation purposes.
• Review AI-generated coding decisions, denial appeals, physician queries, prior authorization determinations, audit reports, and charge reconcilations.
• Compare multiple AI-generated responses and identify errors, omissions, compliance issues, and reasoning flaws.
• Develop detailed grading rubrics that define what a correct and compliant response should include.
• Provide written feedback explaining why responses meet or fail industry standards.
• Review and refine projects developed by other healthcare operations professionals.
