Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore, MD seeks a Project Administrator to act as an internal management consultant. You will design, direct and manage projects to improve cost effectiveness and operational efficiency across functional units.

Key duties include developing operating goals, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting cross-functional committees, and monitoring budgets and resources. PMP/Six Sigma/Lean training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of relevant experience required, health care or project management preferred.
• Completion or certification of PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an internal management consultant to design, direct and manage projects.
• Identify opportunities and develop programs to improve services, control expenses and increase profitability.
• Support cross-functional committees addressing policies and program planning.
• Plan and organize committee activities and implement recommendations.
• Monitor budgets, staffing and resource usage; drive performance improvements.
• Facilitate change through a systems approach and process redesign.
