Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Group, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks an Operations Administrator to support the Market Director in planning, implementing, and directing daily programs. This role emphasizes policy development, financial oversight, and collaboration with practice managers to improve service delivery.

You will oversee daily operations, inventory, IT initiatives, and managed care efforts, reporting to the Market Director with direct reports across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration preferred.
• 5-8 years’ work experience in progressively responsible practice operations will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong financial and operational leadership across medical group settings.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle management and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with employees and physicians to improve operations and services.
• Lead planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating practice functions.
• Represent Medical Group in absence of Market Director and attend top-level meetings.
• Develop physician recruitment plans and monitor budgets and variances.
• Hire, coach, and discipline staff; conduct evaluations; ensure policy adherence.
