Qualifications

• Licensed physician or registered nurse or holder of an undergraduate degree
• 3–5 years healthcare management experience
• Ability to supervise administrative and clinical personnel

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate operations to ensure provision of adequate and appropriate care and services
• Comply with applicable law and regulation
• Maintain staff development including orientation, inservice education and ongoing evaluation
• Manage fiscal planning, budgeting and operations within fiscal parameters
• Implement governing body directives and ensure service policies are developed and implemented
• Recruit, employ and retain qualified personnel to maintain staffing levels
• Maintain effective channels of communication within organization
• Ensure staff have current clinical information and supervision during operating hours
• Monitor and drive organizational performance improvement activities with QAPI personnel
• Ensure public information materials and activities are accurate and compliant
• Appoint capable alternates to be available during operating hours
