Nexus Health Systems is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across hospitals, residential treatment centers, and specialized programs. This pivotal role drives safety, quality, growth, workforce performance, and financial stewardship while aligning facility leaders with organizational strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare/related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations or multi-site oversight.
• Experience with budgeting, workforce planning, performance analysis, and operational improvement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work with corporate and facility leaders.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and leadership in behavioral health, rehabilitation, or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across hospitals and residential programs; ensure census, patient experience, quality, safety, and efficiency goals.
• Partner with Quality, Compliance, Clinical Leadership, Finance, and HR to strengthen regulatory readiness and financial stewardship.
• Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, staffing, and program growth while balancing resource constraints.
• Lead development and deployment of policies, standards, and initiatives across locations.
• Foster collaboration across clinical, nursing, IT, facilities, and business development teams; mentor facility leaders.
