Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking a Patient Account Representative to support Patient Financial Services in daily operations, including EOB review and special projects. This full-time role is based at the Centralized Business Office in Lewisville, TX with Monday–Friday hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (or 0–2 years in healthcare/customer service) and comfortable using Windows, Word and Excel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of diploma / GED.
- 0-2+ years work experience in a healthcare, business, retail, customer service setting.
Responsibilities
- Document and distribute all business-related requests and correspondence from patients and insurance companies.
- Process all outgoing correspondence daily.
- Retrieve and complete all designated requests.
- Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Communicate to Guidehouse management areas of concern or areas of improvement.
- Complete all internal requests.
- Complete all copying and printing requests for Patient Financial Services.
- Update patient demographic and insurance information.
- Review EOB’s
- Perform special projects to identify, and reconcile, payer specific issues.
