Job summary

The Valley Health System in Paramus is seeking a Business/Administrative Assistant to support the Patient Care Center, Centralized Department and patients by handling KPI monitoring, database management, information processing, and staff support. Responsibilities include materials and inventory management, educational/training functions, and unit-specific tasks.

A high school diploma is required, with medical terminology training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical terminology course preferred.
• Previous comparable experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Computer experience required; knowledge of Windows environment; medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs and manage databases.
• Provide information processing and patient/department support.
• Handle materials and inventory management.
• Support educational and training functions.
• Perform unit-specific tasks as assigned.
