Job summary

Churchstreeter and Crosse is seeking an HR Assistant to coordinate pre-employment and onboarding, partnering with recruiters, HR, and health staff to ensure a smooth candidate experience. In this hybrid role, you will manage background checks, onboarding docs, HIPAA-compliant records, and cross-functional onboarding activities, while maintaining compliance and timely communications.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of HR and onboarding experience.
Healthcare experience is preferred.
Knowledge of pre-employment requirements, including licensure verification, occupational health, and compliance standards.
Experience with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding documentation while ensuring compliance.
Facilitate end-to-end onboarding, schedule orientation, and be primary contact for new hires.
Enhance candidate experience with timely communication and professional support.
Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliant HR records and safeguarding confidential information.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Occupational Health, IT, Payroll, Security, and leaders.
Maintain onboarding documentation and tracking reports, and monitor onboarding metrics.
