Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a full time Office Manager for our Northwest Internal Medicine office in Columbus, OH! This person will be responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the overall operation of the office.

The role involves maintaining an orderly and efficient office, staff recruitment and training, payroll processing, and ensuring excellent patient experiences. You will liaise with physicians, support COPC initiatives, and uphold HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Clinical experience (Medical Assistant, Nursing Degree) preferred.
• Three or more years of office management experience preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate the overall operation of the office.
• Staff recruitment, orientation, and training; manage daily work assignments.
• Facilitate employee performance evaluations and ongoing training.
• Oversee payroll entries and overtime management.
• Create an environment of exceptional patient experiences.
• Serve as liaison and primary contact; communicate with physicians on office management items.
• Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for staff and patients.
• Collaborate with COPC corporate strategy to improve operational success.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle for accounts receivable, collections and billing issues.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and labor laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
