Job summary

Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab is seeking a highly organized Business Office Manager to oversee daily business office operations in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment at our Virden, IL campus.

The role emphasizes managing Medicaid/Medicare billing, payroll processes, and accounts payable while supporting residents, families, and facility leadership with professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in accounting preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, insurance billing, payroll, or healthcare business office operations preferred.
• Knowledge of computerized office systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor Medicaid pending applications.
• Prepare and submit write-off requests according to collection policies.
• Prepare and manage daily deposits.
• Oversee all Accounts Payable functions.
• Coordinate and oversee payroll processes.
• Supervise Business Office staff and workflow.
• Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
• Ensure compliance with billing practices, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and facility policies.
• Assist leadership with additional administrative duties as needed.
• Support residents and families with professionalism and compassion.
