As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a Business Development Manager (m/w/d), with a strong focus on developing our Healthcare OEM market, to join our commercial team and drive sustainable growth in EMEA.

Role Summary

As a strategic member of our commercial team, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong partnerships, and managing projects from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing initiatives that support our long-term EMEA growth objectives. The role requires up to 30% international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Profitable Growth: Own your market by developing strategic alliances with target customers, understanding applications for blowers, compressors, and vacuum pumps, and crafting compelling value propositions.
• Spark Innovation: Build relationships with customer R&D and Product Development leaders, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, and lead cross-functional teams to accelerate product launches and secure specifications in new designs.
• Manage Accounts and develop business with existing customers
• Generate Competitive Insights: Research market trends, evaluate evolving customer needs, and capture competitive intelligence.
• Strategic Planning: Support mid- and long-term strategic plans and execute annual operating plans to achieve financial targets (orders, revenue, margins, receivables).
• Sales, Customer Support, and Training: Contribute to training tools and programs that enhance customer engagement and internal capabilities.
• Collaborate Across IDEX: Work with global market development teams and other IDEX business units to deliver innovative solutions and achieve win-win growth.
• Voice of the Customer: Ensure customer needs drive product and service innovation.
• Optimize Initiatives: Continuously prioritize high-return initiatives to maximize value.

Additional Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an opportunity funnel aligned with our 3-year growth objectives.
• Identify emerging market trends where our solutions fit application requirements.
• Contribute to building a strong sales strategy focused on mid- and long-term growth.
• Execute key initiatives using an 80/20 business approach for maximum impact.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
• 5+ years of technical business development experience with a proven track record in B2B sales.
• Experience selling into the Healthcare Industry (preferred).
• Profound user of CRM tools
• Leadership skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Project management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives.

Compensation Information

The expected pay range for this position is 100.000 - 160.000 annually.

Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other objective job-related factors. This position may be eligible for a bonus or other incentive plan, as well as other forms of compensation.
