Job summary

Clarity Partners LLC in Chicago is seeking a Network Manager to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for enterprise network engineering within a healthcare environment.

You will lead a team responsible for the design, security, performance, and ongoing support of LAN, WAN, VoIP, VPN, and unified communications while coordinating with security, vendors, and stakeholders to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional network engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, wireless, VoIP, VPN, and enterprise network technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT management or technical leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervising or managing network, unified communications, or related infrastructure professionals.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly available enterprise network architectures in complex, multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching, wireless technologies, WAN connectivity, VoIP, VPN technologies, and unified communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Network Engineering team, establishing technical standards, operating procedures, performance expectations, and network engineering best practices.
• Manage, mentor, and develop technical staff through performance management, training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, VoIP, VPN, unified communications, and Internet/Intranet infrastructure.
• Serve as the technical and operational owner for enterprise network services, ensuring network availability, reliability, security, scalability, recoverability, and performance.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, configurations, and operating procedures.
