Job summary

WSP in Cleveland, Ohio (alternate location: Columbus) seeks an Assistant Vice President, Mechanical Engineer to lead the Healthcare Team. This senior mechanical leader will provide technical and strategic direction for complex healthcare projects and help expand WSP's healthcare practice across Ohio and the Midwest.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in building systems.
P.E. license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Ohio licensure preferred or attainable.
Experience designing and overseeing healthcare mechanical systems and leading complex projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and strategic leadership for healthcare projects in Ohio and the Midwest.
Mentor staff and oversee project delivery, budgets, and staffing.
Develop client relationships and pursue business development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with healthcare design standards and codes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
