Job summary

WSP USA in Cleveland, Ohio seeks an Assistant Vice President, Electrical Engineer to lead healthcare electrical design across Ohio and the Midwest. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive technical excellence, and mentor engineers while expanding WSP's healthcare practice.

You will oversee project delivery, manage scope and budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong client relationships with hospitals, academic medical centers, and health systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; Ohio preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in building systems design.
• Experience leading healthcare electrical design projects and client-facing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary healthcare projects across Ohio and the Midwest.
• Oversee design, coordination, and delivery of complex electrical systems.
• Mentor engineers and staff, supporting recruiting and professional development.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, and quality objectives.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
