ISG, a multi-disciplinary firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support its Healthcare Business Unit in Bloomington, MN. You will design and oversee HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection systems, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver integrated healthcare solutions.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and 5+ years in healthcare design. Proficiency in Revit/BIM and knowledge of IMC/IPC/ASHRAE-170 are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare-related mechanical design experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM tools for HVAC/plumbing design.
• Strong knowledge of building codes (IMC, IPC, FFC) and healthcare regs (ASHRAE-170, FGI).
• Experience with hospital BMS platforms; PLC-based systems and HMI integration.

Responsabilités

• Design and oversee HVAC-R, plumbing, medical gas, vacuum, steam, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver integrated building solutions.
• Conduct facility assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning of healthcare infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific standards.
• Manage building automation systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Participate in equipment planning and layout optimization for healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers on scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
