ISG in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to support our Healthcare Business Unit. You will design HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection systems, collaborating with architects and engineers to deliver integrated healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in healthcare mechanical design.
• Proficient in Revit and BIM tools for HVAC and plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of building codes (IMC, IPC, FFC).
• Experience with hospital BMS platforms.
• PLC-based systems and HMI integration experience.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and promote ISG’s design solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative leadership with mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee HVAC-R, plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers for integrated building solutions.
• Conduct facility assessments and commissioning of healthcare infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Manage building automation systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Plan equipment layout and optimization for healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate with project managers on scheduling and documentation.
