Kindred Hospital St. Louis South is seeking a Materials Management professional to oversee purchasing activities, inventory control, and supplier coordination across the facility. You will manage orders, maintain accurate records in Meditech, and ensure timely charging of supplies for patient care.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to protect confidentiality of contracts, price lists and bids.
• Must read, write, and speak English with good verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills with minimal guidance.
• Read/write/speak fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing dept activities: receiving, labeling, stocking, auditing, inventory, and distribution of supplies.
• Process hospital orders in Meditech; enter and track purchase orders; compare orders to requisitions for accuracy.
• Ensure timely invoicing and resolve price variances within five days; negotiate payment terms with vendors.
• Maintain inventory and charging systems; monitor back orders and coordinate substitutes to ensure essential supplies.
