Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee's St Lukes Hospital is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Handler to receive incoming materials, inspect them for accuracy and condition, and sign for deliveries. You will verify inventory and ensure proper storage and distribution to facilities and departments.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week with shifts 05:00-13:30, Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday every seven weeks and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to operate basic computer functions and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials and inspects/verifies accuracy and condition before signing for delivery.
• Maintains accurate records for receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies.
• Prepares, distributes and transports supplies and equipment to facilities, departments, or other entities as required.
• Distributes supplies promptly in response to requisitions and purchase orders.
• Warehouses and maintains inventory levels; handles issues and credits for supplies and equipment.
• Replenishes and maintains specialty carts, trays and kits; checks for outdated supplies.
• Packages and returns material to vendors per documentation as instructed by appropriate paperwork.
• Maintains security, orderliness, and cleanliness in all working areas; rotates/removes outdated or damaged materials.
